TSS AB proudly announces its Calibration Laboratory's ground-breaking achievement of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation by Swedac. This milestone sets a new standard for precision and reliability in temperature monitoring services.
Pressrelease - Solna, Sweden

ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard that sets forth rigorous requirements for laboratories to demonstrate competence, impartiality, and reliability in performing calibrations. TSS's Calibration Laboratory in Solna, Sweden, has successfully met these requirements, showcasing its capability to deliver precise and accurate calibrations for temperature loggers.

Tobias Holmer, Acting CEO of TSS, expressed his pride in this accomplishment, stating, "This accreditation marks a pivotal moment in TSS's journey. It reflects the dedication and collaborative efforts of our team across various departments, reinforcing our commitment to providing top-tier temperature monitoring services to our customers.”

Advancing Sustainability and Quality Assurance

The ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation reinforces TSS's commitment to its corporate sustainability policies. By attaining this accreditation, TSS enhances its capability to offer a more efficient and environmentally friendly circular production model for temperature loggers. This model minimizes the corporate carbon footprint and ensures quality traceability, which is imperative for supporting the delicate pharma supply chain.

The accreditation demonstrates that TSS meets the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. It validates TSS's proficiency in areas such as temperature measurement, traceability, documentation, validations, and the effectiveness of its management system. It serves as a quality stamp, assuring customers of the laboratory's reliability and competence in calibration services.

Meeting Customer Expectations and Enhancing Market Competitiveness

Moreover, achieving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation aligns with customer expectations, as many require this standard for calibration of their temperature loggers. The accreditation positions TSS on par with other accredited laboratories, instilling confidence in the quality of calibration services for its temperature monitoring loggers.

Mr. Holmer further elaborated, "Investing in our Calibration Laboratory's capacity was essential for meeting the growing demand for reliable temperature monitoring services. By insourcing calibration and achieving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, we ensure sustainability and enhance our competitiveness in the market.”
